Volunteer Requirements

• You must be 18 years of age.
• You must live or work in our territory.
• You must have a valid Texas Drivers License.
• We will check your record for any Felony offenses.
• We will do a drug screen

What we will provide:

• We provide EMS training.
• We will provide 2 nights a month of CE Training.
• We will provide uniforms and necessary equipment.

What we expect of you:

• To run for a minimum of 4 shifts a month.  
  Shifts are 12 hours long starting at 6:00 am in the morning and at 6:00pm at night.  To be honest - we are very flexible on this as many of our volunteers have to leave for work at 4:30-5:30 am or don't return from work until 6:30-7:30.  We will work with you to fit your schedule.
• To attend our business meeting, and 2 CE training meetings each month.  
  Our business meeting is the first Thursday of every month. 
  Our training meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. 
  Again - we work around your schedule if you have conflicts, such as work.
• To get involved with the organization.  It is a lot of work, and a lot of fun.  Join us and see!
