West Harris County is always looking for people to Volunteer to run with
us. If you think you might be interested, please fill out the following
information and we will get in contact with you shortly.
Requirements:
- You must have an active CPR certification as a healthcare provider (Don't
worry, we have classes).
- You must actively participate in the function you are assigned at least 20
hours a month.
- Participation by the admin member will be managed and directed by the
respective director and/or officer.
- Administrative members will have no voting rights
What we will provide:
- We provide EMS training.
- We will provide 2 nights a month of CE Training.
- We will provide uniforms and necessary equipment.
What we expect of you:
- To run for a minimum of 4 shifts a month.
Shifts are 12 hours long starting at 6:00 am in the morning and at 6:00pm at
night. To be honest - we are very flexible on this as many of our
volunteers have to leave for work at 4:30-5:30 am or don't return from work
until 6:30-7:30. We will work with you to fit your schedule.
- To attend our business meeting, and 2 CE training meetings each
month.
Our business meeting is the first Thursday of every month.
Our training meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month.
Again - we work around your schedule if you have conflicts, such as work.
- To get involved with the organization. It is a lot of work, and a
